After 1974 the number of containers in transit through the port of Limassol had shown a rapid increase. The need of offering services to the containers in transit led to the establishment of TEU Conservices Ltd.

TEU Conservices was formed on February 8, 1978. Since April 7, 1998 the company was 100% acquired by Caramondani Bros Ltd.

TEU Conservices, operated out of a 500 sq. meters covered workshop, was established initially to offer services to marine freight containers such as inspection, cleaning, repairing and refurbishing, as well as storage facilities for all types of marine freight containers in the Middle East area.

In 1979 TEU Conservices acquired a new factory for the purpose of containers' repair and refurbishing.

The factory is located 7 km. from the main port of Limassol in Cyprus and its

facilities include a covered workshop area of 3.600 sq. meters and a storage area of 28.000 sq. meters.

TEU Conservices is the first dedicated company in Cyprus for offering inspection and maintenance to marine containers, complying with all relevant national and international statutory and regulatory requirements.

Today TEU Conservices offers the following services:

• Inspection, PTI, repair and monitoring of marine reefer containers.
• Refurbishing of all types of containers including grit blasting at TEU Conservices factory.
• Inspection, cleaning, maintenance and repair of all types of marine containers.
• Purchase of all types of second-hand marine containers.
• Sale of new and second-hand marine containers.
• Leasing of all types of marine containers.

Additionally TEU Conservices offers a variety of metal works such as steel structures for factory buildings, stores etc.

It also offers special facility for grit shot blasting and painting shop.

In 1983 TEU Conservices developed prefabricated mobile accommodation units such as houses, offices, shops, schools, clubs, restaurants, workshops, warehouses, communication units etc.

In 1998 TEU Conservices was totally acquired by Caramondani Group of Companies.

Since 1999 TEU Conservices supplies, rents and services portable biochemical toilets for use by the military and for other temporary usages.

In 2000 TEU Conservices became a representative of Top Panel Srl Industries, manufacturers of insulated panels.

TEU Conservices in 2002 was appointed as an approved service centre and supplier of reefer container equipment and spare parts by Carrier Transicold Ltd and others.

In 2004 TEU Conservices was certified to EN ISO 9001:2000 which is a quality assurance model for companies that produce, install and service products.

TEU Conservices continues its expansion in representing new products and services from reputable suppliers.

TEU Conservices has over the years become one of the biggest marine container services providers in the Middle East.

TEU Conservices clients include most of the reputable shipping companies using Cyprus ports.

Both in the marine container services as well as in the prefabricated mobile accommodation, TEU Conservices, in close co-operation with Caramondani Bros Ltd, has managed to secure and succesfully implement contracts both from the public and private sectors.

Nowadays, is a leader in Cyprus as well as in the Middle East in its field.
